The biggest fear when renovating is the unexpected — prices that rise, deadlines that extend, communication that disappears. At Ferreira Obras we have a clear process designed to prevent exactly that.
We didn't design a nice-sounding process to impress anyone. We developed a process that works — built from experience of understanding what goes wrong in renovation projects and systematically eliminating those failure points. The result is 5 stages that turn a stressful decision into a manageable experience.
We visit your home to see the space, take measurements and understand what you need. For clients abroad, we offer a video consultation and then arrange access through a trusted keyholder. No charge, no commitment. We listen before we propose.
We send an itemised quote covering all materials, labour and timeline. No bulk figures, no vague line items. Every cost is listed. You can see exactly what you're paying for and why. The quote is in English if requested.
We formalise everything in a simple contract: the scope of work, the fixed price, the start date, the agreed timeline and the guarantee terms. The price in the contract is the final price. The only exception is hidden problems discovered during demolition — in which case we notify you before proceeding and agree on the additional cost together.
Our team starts on the agreed date and follows the plan. You receive weekly progress photos via WhatsApp throughout — more frequently during critical phases. You can always reach us directly. We don't disappear once the contract is signed.
At completion, we do a full walk-through — with you in person, or via video call if you're abroad. We only consider the project done when you're satisfied. The 2-year written guarantee is provided at handover, covering all workmanship. If anything related to our work fails within two years, we come back and fix it at no charge.
Not "approximately" and not "subject to change". The price you approve is the price you pay. Budget surprises are our problem to manage, not yours to absorb.
