For elderly & reduced mobility
Safety and independence without sacrificing aesthetics. Walk-in shower, anti-slip microcement, grab rails in brushed stainless — all designed to work and to look good.
Many of our accessible bathroom projects come from Portuguese emigrants living in the UK, France or Switzerland who want to adapt their parents' home in Portugal. It's one of the most meaningful things we do.
We convert standard bathrooms into safe, independent-use spaces without the clinical feel of institutional adaptations. The bath is replaced with a level-access walk-in shower. Non-slip microcement goes on the floor. Grab rails are fitted in brushed stainless steel — discreet, strong and lasting.
The whole project can be managed remotely. We send weekly progress photos and do a final video walk-through before handover.
No step, no shower tray lip. A flush floor with an invisible linear drain. Easy to enter with a walking frame or wheelchair. Optional folding glass screen.
Microcement or textured tile with anti-slip properties. Safe when wet, easy to clean, and far more attractive than rubber matting.
Fitted at the correct position and height for shower, WC and bath transfer. Brushed stainless steel — strong enough to take full body weight, discreet enough to look intentional.
Wall-mounted fold-down seat for use when needed, folded away when not. Available in teak or white plastic, matched to the bathroom design.
Pre-set to a safe temperature, these taps prevent accidental scalding. We recommend Grohe Grohtherm or Hansgrohe Ecostat — reliable, easy to operate.
If the existing door is too narrow for wheelchair or walking frame access, we can widen it as part of the project.
