Bath to Shower Conversion — More Space, More Comfort, in 3 to 5 Days.

The bath you never use takes up precious space. A walk-in shower conversion transforms your bathroom — no major works, no months of waiting, no price surprises.

What's included

What the Conversion Includes

A bath-to-shower conversion isn't simply swapping one fixture for another. It's a complete job that ensures every surface is properly waterproofed, tiled, and finished — just like a new build. That's the difference between a conversion that lasts 20 years and one that causes problems in two.

Bath removal and clearance

We remove the bath, side panels, and any damaged floor or wall sections. All rubble is taken away — the bathroom is left clean at the end of each working day.

Full waterproofing

We apply a waterproof membrane across all wet zone surfaces — floor and walls. This is the critical step that determines whether the bathroom lasts a decade or two without water ingress.

Tiling and surface finish

We install the client's choice of tiles, microcement, or other surface finish. All outlets and connections are in stainless or chrome. Everything is level and properly graded to the drain.

Shower installation

Standard shower tray, walk-in with fixed glass panel, or flush-floor microcement — depending on the chosen option. Tap and shower fittings included or adapted to existing plumbing as per quote.

Shower options

Types of Shower We Install

Every bathroom is different. We offer three main solutions that suit different spaces, budgets and styles:

Standard shower tray

The most accessible and fastest option. Acrylic or resin tray with glass enclosure or panel. Ideal when the goal is functionality with strong value for money. From €1,800.

Walk-in with glass panel

No doors, no frames, no awkward corners to clean. Fixed tempered glass with a minimal profile. Premium look, easy maintenance, a real sense of space. From €2,400.

Flush-floor with microcement

Level floor at the same height as the rest of the bathroom — no threshold, no lip, no transitions. Microcement finish in one seamless surface. The most contemporary result and most requested in full renovations. From €3,200.

How we work

Our Process, Step by Step

1

Free site visit

We visit the bathroom, assess the current condition, take measurements, and advise on the best shower type for your space and budget.

2

Fixed quote and material selection

We present a detailed, fixed-price quote. We help you choose tiles, microcement or alternative finishes, and all fittings. What's in the quote is what you pay.

3

Removal and waterproofing

The bath and any necessary structure are removed. All wet zone surfaces are prepared and fully waterproofed. This phase typically takes 1 to 2 days.

4

Tiling and shower installation

The chosen surface finish goes in, followed by the shower unit and all fittings. We check falls, seals, and function before moving on.

5

Handover and clean

Full clean, removal of all protection, and the bathroom is handed over ready to use. Final walkthrough with the client before closing the job.

Common questions

FAQ — Bath to Shower Conversion

Yes, in most cases. The work is confined to the bathroom and doesn't affect the rest of the home. We'll always let you know in advance if there's a short period without water — usually just a few hours — so you can plan around it.

Typically 1 to 2 full days without bathroom access during the removal and waterproofing phase. After that, the bathroom can be used with some care. The full conversion is normally completed in 3 to 5 days.

Yes. Our quote covers bath removal, full waterproofing, tiling or surface finish, shower tray or glass screen, all fittings, and final clean. The fixed price we agree is what you pay — no hidden material or labour costs at the end.

Yes — and it's often the best choice. A bath takes up more floor space than a walk-in shower, so the conversion can actually make a small bathroom feel larger and more functional. From 80 cm of width, a comfortable shower can be installed.
